In a tight tilt between Lancaster and High Desert, pitcher Bob Saragosa was a key contributor. The right-hander earned accolades for his standout performance in the 3-2 JetHawks win. The JetHawks saw their record improve to 50-71.

Lancaster took a 3-1 lead on John Cheshire's 12th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Cheshire hit in the top of the ninth, left High Desert pitcher Jose Valencia visibly frustrated.

"When I throw strikes I'm good, if I don't I'm not very good," said Saragosa. "So I just have to throw strikes."
