He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Dennis Hampton picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Enrique Guevara was tagged with the loss. Bakersfield is now 60-61, Visalia 60-61.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Shane Light? The 23-year old second baseman Light stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put Bakersfield up, 6-5. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
