Max Prentice, who is tied for 10th in the CAL in saves with 7, was locked in. The right-hander led the Inland Empire 66ers to a 3-1 win against the Lake Elsinore Storm at San Manuel Stadium. Adam Ritter, credited with the win in relief, is now 8-5. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1 innings. The 66ers win now puts them at 48-74.
Francisco Galdamez aided the Inland Empire cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 4 with a double.
"When you win, you always have confidence," said Inland Empire skipper Jonathan Vasquez. "Nobody likes to lose. Losing is a downer. That's how we look at it. It's always good to win."
