The timely hitting of Aaron Sadler helped the San Jose Giants down the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, 8-1. Sadler went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Giants. The Giants raised their record to 61-65.
