The Visalia Rawhide got a superb performance from pitcher Ryan Idziak, but the Stockton Ports still won the game, 3-2. Idziak came in in relief and pitched to 20 batters. The 'W' lifts Stockton's record to 48-78.
The Ports got a big at-bat from catcher Alex Urena. For the game, Urena was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Stockton a 3-0 lead.
"Winning is the only objective," said Urena after the game.
