Late Rally Earns San Jose 4-3 Win
The Giants grabbed a win, 4-3, at San Jose Municipal Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Bakersfield pitcher Jake Paquin. Paquin went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The win puts San Jose at 80-47 this season.

San Jose took a 4-3 lead on Felix Cancino's 21st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Cancino hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Bakersfield pitcher Scott Baker visibly frustrated.

"This win gets us that much closer to where we want to be," Cancino said in postgame remarks.
