The Modesto Nuts beat the San Jose Giants at John Thurman Field. The final score was 3-0, in favor of Modesto. Danny Patino led the way, going 3-for-4 for the home team. Jeff Borrego earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3.1 innings. His record is now 3-1. Seth Bollenbacher closed it out for his 2nd save.
