The Chicago White Sox defeated the Kansas City Royals, 6-2, in American League action at Kauffman Stadium. Chicago pitcher Jonathan Stevens had a standout performance. In 5.2 innings, Stevens surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. The Royals, now 4-10, continue their sluggish start.
