Rangers Lose By a Run at Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Angels topped the Texas Rangers, 5-4, in American League action at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The game was highlighted by the performance of Los Angeles pitcher Tim Titolo. Los Angeles reliever Richard Clare was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Nick Jenkins. With the win, Los Angeles lifts its record to 8-7.

Dan Boyd drove in one run for Los Angeles. The 34-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Keith Strickland. It was his 4th RBI of the season.

After the game, Los Angeles manager Matt Moore applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
