The Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The St. Louis Cardinals picked up a win at Busch Stadium, taking down the Cincinnati Reds, 5-1. Starting pitcher Trent Vaccaro was a big reason why. Vaccaro went the distance for St. Louis. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits.

St. Louis took a 1-0 lead on Jonathan Steben's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Steben hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Cincinnati pitcher Israel Castillo visibly frustrated.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Steben.

Cincinnati is now 7-7.
