Carrion Reaches 2000 Milestone
The Milwaukee contest with Seattle featured a real shining moment: Ramon Carrion, the Brewers first baseman, collected career base hit #2000. That his team lost the game, 2-0, took away only a little bit of the luster. Fittingly, the 37-year-old Carrion, who went 1-for-4, received a warm ovation from the Miller Park crowd.

Lifetime Carrion has hit .257 with 2000 hits, 477 home runs, 1368 RBIs and scored 1308 runs.
