In a close game at Nationals Park, the Washington Nationals edged the Seattle Mariners, 4-3. Washington second baseman Justin Seman stood apart with his performance. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times. Washington now has a record of 13-4.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Washington. That's when Joaquin Reyes hit a 2-run double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Yvain Natta to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
