Thanks to Marc Helms and his big bat, the JetHawks derailed the High Desert Mavericks 9-3 today at Stater Bros. Stadium. The Lancaster right fielder had a standout game with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Marc Helms tripled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Sal Villalba in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Ivan Pena in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
