Pirates Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
Jesse Wheaton helped his team muscle past the Texas Rangers, 8-7. In the game, the Pittsburgh designated hitter went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win has Pittsburgh at 11-6.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Pittsburgh center fielder Brendan Keyes, facing Keith Strickland, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Pirates the 8-7 win.
