|
Fred Szilagyi pitched a gem to lead Los Angeles to victory over the Minnesota Twins, 4-0. The win puts Los Angeles at 12-8.
Ed Miller, who finished 5th in the NL in home runs with 38 in 2103, had a direct impact on the outcome. Miller contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Los Angeles up, 2-0.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Szilagyi.
