Brewers Take Tight Tangle
|
Milwaukee beat Cincinnati at Miller Park, escaping with a 4-3 win. The win in large part was due to right fielder Eric Cobb. He went 1 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs. The winner was Ray Dunham in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Mark Langseth took the loss. The Brewers have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 7th win in 20 games.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Cobb hit a cutter from Mark Langseth for a solo home run. The Brewers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This wasn't a good win," said Cobb. "It was a great win."
