Padres Improve to 13-10 with 7-2 Win
|
Los Angeles got a decent performance from pitcher Robby Thienes, but it wasn't enough to beat the San Diego Padres. San Diego won the Dodger Park contest, 7-2. Thienes threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball for the losing team. Josh Morse finished the game for San Diego and earned his 4th save. San Diego goes to 13-10.
It could have been a different outcome for San Diego, had it not been for Jaden Dorsey, the slick-fielding shortstop . Dorsey contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put San Diego up, 3-0.
Dorsey attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
