Giants Top Angels, 6-5
|
The San Francisco Giants wiggled past the Los Angeles Angels, 6-5, at AT&T Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of San Francisco pitcher Ruben Rivas. The loss puts Los Angeles at 2-21.
The Giants procured the win, in large part because of shortstop Bryce Bissinger. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said San Francisco manager Michel Alexandre Cauchon.
