A good performance from right fielder John Ramirez helped the Clinton LumberKings defeat the Dayton Dragons, 6-4. Ramirez was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the LumberKings. The winner was Clinton reliever Blake Kubler, now 1-1. The loser was Richard Sosa. Clinton now has a 3-game win streak.

Clinton needed the clutch hitting of Braeden Wilson to notch the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the LumberKings on top, 6-4. For the game, Wilson had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Wilson told the Clinton Observer.
