Minnesota Gets 8-6 Road Win
The Minnesota Twins defeated the Los Angeles Angels, 8-6, in American League action at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Chris Pope pulled his weight. The 7-year veteran went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. John Brenner was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Richard Clare. The Angels fall to 11-15 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2110 season.

Minnesota used a clutch at-bat from Kyle Eby to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Twins ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Pope told the Minnesota Herald. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
