Reds Lose as Mets Stage Late Rally
Cincinnati got a valiant performance from pitcher Curtis Moore, but it wasn't enough to beat the New York Mets. New York won the game, 4-1. Moore threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Cincinnati now is 18-8.

Grant Goff came through with a big-time hit for New York. The first baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Goff told the New York Daily.
