The Cleveland Guardians picked up a win at Progressive Field, topping the New York Yankees, 5-2. On the mound for Cleveland was left-hander Nick Wise. He played a principal role in the triumph. The winner was Wise. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Nate Merritt. Getting the save was Pablo Iglesias, his 5th.
