More Woes for Bulls Justin Baines Sunday, June 8th , 2098 Yesterday Durham starting pitcher Justin Baines sustained a setback in his recovery from chronic back soreness. The Bulls medical staff told him it would be at least one week before he will be able to return to action. Baines told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Baines worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. For the season Baines has compiled a 3-1 record with a 2.40 ERA. |
