Columbus's Dunigan Gets IL Player of the Week Monday, June 7th, 2055 At the age of 27, Dustin Dunigan might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Columbus first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Dunigan collected the International League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 16 hits in 32 at-bats, 2 home runs and 11 RBIs last week in 7 games. So far this year in 51 games Dunigan is hitting .275 with 11 home runs, 29 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
