Randow Grabs PC Reliever of the Year

He's a veteran presence in the Albuquerque Isotopes bullpen and now Justin Randow can say he's a 2052 award winner.

The bullpen ace was today named the Pacific Conference Reliever of the Year winner.

"When you're 34 years old, your main objective is to just stay healthy and stay productive. I guess I did that this year," he said.

The award was won on the strength of a season that featured 26 saves in 54 relief appearances, with 94 strikeouts in 83.2 innings and a record of 3-6 to go with his 2.58 ERA.

He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 16. Eddie Salmeron of the Las Vegas 51s finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Shane Domschot of the El Paso Chihuahuas finished third.
