Fresno-Sacramento Brawl, Jones and Carr Suspended Saturday, June 14th, 2059 After an intense confrontation, both the Grizzlies Brock Jones and the River Cats Rob Carr were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Fresno-Sacramento game. Brock Jones will miss 5 games, while Rob Carr was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Brock Jones commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Hitting .329 to date, Jones has no home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 59 games.
