Year Ends for Mike Scott in Las Vegas
Sunday, June 15th, 2059
Doctors in Las Vegas said Mike Scott might not play anymore this year. The 51s reliever suffered a partially torn labrum during a game against the Reno Aces and will be out for at least 4 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.

Scott has taken the mound for 11 relief appearances this season, nailing down 3 saves while notching a 2-2 record with a 5.27 ERA. The Las Vegas reliever has limited opposing batters to a .327 batting average.
