American Conference Premier Pitcher is Szetela Sunday, August 1st , 2083 Steve Szetela took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the American Conference Pitcher of the Month award for July. The 26-year-old Storm Chasers starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 5-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 28 batters in 45 innings and compiled a 2.40 ERA. Season-to-date Szetela has rung up 12 wins and 7 losses in 21 appearances. He has an ERA of 3.74 and has fanned 97 batters in 144.1 innings. |
