Salt Lake Blanks Reno Behind LeVan
Friday, September 6th, 2052
Jeremy LeVan of the Salt Lake Bees spun his magic on the Reno Aces today. He blanked them 10-0 on 5 hits, registering 5 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," LeVan said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."
Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Salt Lake skipper Mike Irvine said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."
"Jeremy pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.
In 29 starts this season LeVan has registered a 14-6 record and a 3.86 ERA.
