Dusty Medina Nabs Best Player Trophy

Dusty Medina took Eastern League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 26.
For his spectacular campaign, the Altoona Curve star has been named the 2115 Eastern League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the shortstop.
On the season he compiled a .281 batting average to go with a .375 on-base percentage. The native of Scarborough, Maine also added 22 doubles, 7 triples, 23 home runs, 70 RBIs and 66 runs scored.
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Mike Kaloustian of the Altoona Curve finished second in voting, while Masali Uehara of the Hartford Yard Goats finished third.
