Chattanooga-Biloxi Brawl, Bergsma and Hernandez Suspended Tuesday, July 29th , 2110 Luke Bergsma of the Chattanooga Lookouts and Gerardo Hernandez of the Biloxi Shuckers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 2 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Lookouts-Shuckers game at AT&T Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Bergsma and Hernandez will begin serving them soon. At the moment, Bergsma is batting .276 with 6 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 36 games and scored 15 times. To date this year, Hernandez has compiled a 3-5 mark with a 4.90 ERA in 14 starts. |
