Hit Parade: Jones Pops 5 Hits Monday, August 11th , 2098 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Bobby Jones today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at AT&T Field and paced the Lookouts to a 6-1 win over the Mississippi Braves. After his dynamite batting performance, the Chattanooga right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Bobby Jones doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
