SL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, August 11th , 2110 Not only was he the best pitcher in the Southern League last week, but Bill Penn of Pensacola was also the best player. He was proclaimed the Player of the Week today for his superlative work on the mound. Penn crafted a 2-0 record and an outstanding 0.00 earned run average while holding opponents to a .102 average in 18 innings and striking out 19.
