Ramirez Crafts 4-0 Shutout Saturday, August 16th , 2098 Alex Ramirez shut out the Birmingham Barons 4-0 on a 3-hit masterpiece for the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium today. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Montgomery skipper Jalen Ford said afterward. Ramirez registered 17 strikeouts and issued 3 walks in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Birmingham manager John Ware after the defeat. Ramirez has made 6 starts this season, posting 4 wins and 1 loss.
