Braves Lambert Snags SL Player of the Week Monday, September 8th , 2104 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the Southern League Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Ronnie Lambert for his red-hot week of hitting. The Mississippi third baseman took home the trophy by splurging with 8 hits in 19 at-bats for a .421 batting average, driving in 9 runs and scoring 6 times. In the 2104 season Lambert is hitting .277 with 11 home runs. |
