Pensacola's Valdivia Chosen SL Batter of the Month Monday, September 1st , 2110 Pensacola Blue Wahoos fans believe they've got a talented young star in Alex Valdivia. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .383 with 7 home runs, 20 RBIs and 18 runs scored. The end result was the right fielder being named the Southern League Batter of the Month. This season in 83 games, Valdivia has hit at a .318 clip with 95 hits, 16 home runs, 51 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
