SL Top Pitcher Award for August to Weirauch Monday, September 1st , 2098 When Alan Weirauch takes the hill, he's a good bet to nail down the victory for the Chattanooga Lookouts. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 5-0 mark and 0.43 ERA in 6 starts. In 41.2 innings, he fanned 71 and walked 14. That's why he was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Southern League. In 21 starts this season Weirauch has recorded a 12-3 record and a 1.98 ERA. |
