Pensacola Moves on to Round 2 Monday, September 10th , 2108 The Pensacola Blue Wahoos "bent but didn't break" against the Biloxi Shuckers in the Round 1. That's according to Jake Stewart of Pensacola, who was named series MVP. "Our guys faced adversity and overcame it. This series wasn't easy, but we stuck to our game and made it work," he said. Pensacola won the final game by a 3-0 count and the series 3-1. Stewart's MVP performance included hitting .400 with a .471 on-base percentage. He also had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Pensacola Blue Wahoos will play against the Mississippi Braves in the next round.
