Round 1 Goes the Distance, Jacksonville Prevails Tuesday, September 16th , 2110 The Jacksonville Suns are heading to the Round 2, having narrowly defeated the Montgomery Biscuits. Jacksonville edged Montgomery in the series 3-2, with a win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium in the clinching game by a 11-8 margin. Ted Zoulek turned in a strong offensive performance for the Suns and got series MVP for his efforts. "I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a Round 2 win." It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Zoulek continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance. For the series, he hit .368 with a .458 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Jacksonville Suns don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Jackson Generals - Tennessee Smokies series.
