SL Manager of the Year Award Given to Salinas Tuesday, October 2nd , 2108 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Evan Salinas, he seems to have taken the Pensacola Blue Wahoos to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Southern League for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Salinas led Pensacola to a first place finish in the North Division. The Blue Wahoos ended up with a 78-61 record. |
