Biloxi Reliever Takes Pitcher of the Year Award Monday, October 6th , 2098 The Southern League announced today that its 2098 Pitcher of the Year Award has been given to Biloxi Shuckers relief specialist Jason Havens. He had a superlative season, making 24 relief appearances and getting 9 saves. Havens ran up a 17-5 record and a 2.33 ERA. He totaled 166 innings with 216 strikeouts and 109 hits allowed. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Josh Conlan of the Birmingham Barons finished second in voting, while Ricky Ratzlaff of the Montgomery Biscuits finished third with 1 first place vote.
