TEX Selects Sanchez July's Best Starter Wednesday, August 1st, 2057 Over the past month Danny Sanchez has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Texas League. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Frisco RoughRiders posted 4-0 mark and a 2.06 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 35 innings, permitted 17 hits and fanned 24 batters. This season Sanchez has worked 120.1 innings with 76 strikeouts en route to a 5-7 record and a 3.74 ERA. |
