TEX Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Fernandez Sunday, July 1st , 2085 Even though he is a newcomer to Texas League, Danny Fernandez put up some good numbers in June and earned the TEX Batter of the Month award. He was one of Corpus Christi's offensive leaders with a .316 average in 22 games. He also racked up 7 home runs, 17 RBIs, and 19 runs scored.
