San Antonio Moves on to Round 2 Monday, September 11th , 2079 The San Antonio Missions will continue the trek towards a Round 2 title, while the Corpus Christi Hooks are headed home for the season. San Antonio won the Round 1 with a clinching game 7-6 victory at Whataburger Field, concluding the series at 3-1. "We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Tom Christopher said after officially being named series MVP. He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .462 batting average, .462 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 3 RBI and 1 runs scored. The San Antonio Missions don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals - Arkansas Travelers series.
