Knighten Belts 5 Hits Thursday, August 22nd, 2058 Bobby Knighten exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Security Bank Ballpark. The Tulsa center fielder had a field day in the 22-4 triumph over the Midland RockHounds, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Knighten must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Bobby Knighten hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
