League KO's 66ers-Nuts Players with 5-Game Suspensions Friday, April 25th, 2059 During a recent Inland Empire-Modesto game at San Manuel Stadium, Pedro Gaytan of the 66ers and Matt Flowers of the Nuts got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 5-game suspensions because of their actions. For the season Gaytan is hitting .222, batted in 4 runs with no home runs and 5 runs scored. |
