Morgan at His Best, Blanks Bakersfield Sunday, July 26th , 2111 In an excellent mound performance, Dan Morgan of the Visalia Rawhide blanked the Bakersfield Blaze, 6-0, on a 3-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Visalia hurler rang up 8 strikeouts and 3 walks in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Blaze manager Jerry Zuniga. "Morgan did a good job keeping us guessing." So far this year, Morgan has 3 wins and 4 losses and a 3.84 ERA.
