Jesse Gilmer Blanks Lancaster, 5-0 Wednesday, August 9th , 2113 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Lancaster JetHawks as starter Jesse Gilmer shut them out, 5-0, at The Hanger. The High Desert pitcher struck out 7 and walked 2 while allowing 3 hits. "Gilmer was good but he wasn't flawless," Lancaster manager Jose Gomez said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from High Desert, but this is on us."
