Hinson Sticks It to CAL Pitchers Monday, August 10th , 2111 Marc Hinson is respected by most Inland Empire 66ers fans for his no-frills style of play. The 22-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the California League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .429 average (12-for-28) with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season, Hinson has posted a batting average of .305 with 25 hits in 82 at-bats, 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. He has also scored 10 runs, walked 6 times and compiled a .356 OBP. |
