McCormack Snags CAL Batting Honor in August Friday, September 1st , 2073 Matt McCormack made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the California League this past month. The San Jose Giants left fielder shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old hit .287 with 9 home runs, 16 RBIs and 19 runs scored. McCormack is batting .214 this year with 29 home runs, 63 RBIs and 72 runs scored. He has 91 hits in 426 at-bats. |
