Edwards and Dominguez Fight, Get Suspended Wednesday, August 12th , 2111 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Inland Empire-Rancho Cucamonga contest at LoanMart Field. The 66ers Steve Edwards and the Quakes Juan Dominguez will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Currently Edwards is batting .177 with 51 hits and 8 home runs. He has knocked in 26 runs and scored 32 times. This year, Dominguez has made 13 relief appearances with no saves. In 33 innings, he has fanned 32 hitters and recorded 1 win and no losses with a 3.27 ERA. |
