No-Hit Masterpiece by Cabrera Thursday, August 14th , 2098 San Jose Giants starter Jorge Cabrera was unhittable today at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Cabrera beat the Lake Elsinore Storm 7-0, breezing through the Storm lineup en route to a no-hitter. "I thought Jorge started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Giants manager Rogelio Ramirez said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Storm never had a chance. He dominated them." Cabrera struck out 14 batters and issued 2 walks in the performance.
